In three weeks, SEGA will release the new Like a Dragon: Ishin – then also on the PC. The system requirements have now been made public in advance! In addition, a controversial copy protection was confirmed.
The official Steam product page for the upcoming Like a Dragon: Ishin has recently been updated and now provides you with an overview of the system requirements for the new SEGA title on PC. As usual, a distinction is made between minimum and recommended system configurations. The former aims for a resolution of 1080p at 30 frames per second, while the latter aims for a constant 60 fps at the same resolution. If you want to gamble with a corresponding frame rate in 4K, you need a correspondingly better equipped system, although there is no official information on this.
For the 60 fps configuration in Full HD you should already have an RTX 2060 and an Intel Core i7-4790 in use. If you rely on AMD, you need a Radeon RX Vega 56 and a Ryzen 5 1600. You can find all other requirements in the following overview:
Minimum system requirements:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-3470, 3.2 GHz oder AMD Ryzen 3 1200, 3.1 GHz
- Random access memory: 8 GB RAM
- Chart: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, 2 GB oder AMD Radeon RX 460, 2 GB
- DirectX: Version 12
- Disk space: 60 GB
- Additional information: 1080p Low @ 30 FPS
Recommended system configuration:
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i7-4790, 3.6 GHz oder AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 3.2 GHz
- Random access memory: 8 GB RAM
- Chart: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, 6 GB oder AMD Radeon RX Vega 56, 8 GB
- DirectX: Version 12

In addition, there is now another piece of information that is certainly relevant for some gamers: In the fight against software piracy, SEGA uses a controversial DRM system, namely Denuvo. This is discredited because it often negatively affects the performance of PC games. Nonetheless, with Like a Dragon: Ishin, you won’t get around it here.
