The new webcam was specially developed for streamers and content creators and offers a 1080p resolution at 60fps and a USB-C connection. It can be flexibly mounted vertically and horizontally, an adapter for common tripods is also on board. The free Logitech Capture software automates exposure, framing and stabilization of the StreamCam. There are also numerous other setting options, and video recording is of course also possible. The StreamCam is also supported by XSplit and the Open Broadcaster Software (OBS).
Other features of the software include:
-
Face detection with smart focus and exposure for optimal shots in every video
-
AI-based smart framing that automatically centers the user in front of the camera in the image
-
Image stabilization for sharp and smooth video recordings
-
Full HD vertical video for an optimal display of Facebook and Instagram stories on the smartphone
-
Stereo and dual mono audio settings for individualized recordings according to your own preferences
The Logitech StreamCam will be available from February 12th at logitech.com and from April 3rd, 2020 in stores in the colors white and graphite at a price of EUR 159.00 / CHF 179.00.
