Necessary, Chris Hemworth, the famous Thor interpreter, would not appreciate these differing remarks. At least he seems a little offended, although he has a lot of respect for the two directors, as we can see in an interview with GQ:

I’m grateful to have been part of something that kept audiences in theaters. In hindsight, I don’t know if those films hurt other films. In any case, I don’t like it when we start attacking each other when there is already so much fragility in this industry.

Also, I’m not specifically addressing the directors who made these comments. They are both still my heroes and I would definitely jump at the chance to work with them. I say it more in reference to the general discourse on the subject.

However, Chris Hemworth may soon find his role as Thor in the MCU, that has accompanied him for twelve years.
