Publisher One or Eight and developer Team Earth Wars have released new details for 2D side-scrolling Action-RPG Lost Epic currently in Early Access, including new worlds, characters as well as enhanced weaponry.
Lost Epic Gains New Major Early Access Update: New Worlds, Characters and Enhanced Weaponry
Lost Epic the 2D side-scrolling action hack and slash RPG which is currently in Early Access has gotten a new update that adds new worlds, two new playable avatars and enhanced weaponry. This new content marks a major update before Lost Epic “graduates from Early Access in 2022”. Players can also pick up the game for 25% off during the Steam Winter Sale which will end on January 5th 2022.
The two new areas include The House of Salvation, described as a “maze-like area” according to the press release, set in the middle of a snowstorm. The other world is The Frontier, a towering structure shrouded in mystery, so high up the ground is “merely a blur below”.
The update also introduces two new avatars, a Necromancer and The Noble One, both are playable characters. Also joining the game is a new NPC called The Son of God. Players with this update can now upgrade their warrior weapons to achieve limit breaks and be able to acquire final forms that grant enhanced divine skills. This gives further customisation as you can either combine two divine skills to create a new one or specialise in one particular skill in its evolved form.
Lost Epic is described as a 2D side-scrolling Action-RPG Souls-like. Players can explore the world known as the Sanctum with the quest to bring the Pantheon of Six to their knees. The game offers fast-paced action-packed battles with a range of ways to progress your character with skills and upgradeable weapons.
