As you approach the Japanese release of a Yakuza or one of its offshoots, SEGA always splits up a long trailer that reviews everything that makes the game different. Unsurprisingly, Lost Judgment doesn’t break the rule.

Ryu Ga Gotoku’s official Japanese YouTube channel has just uploaded a new video entirely dedicated to the topic Lost judgment in which there are many elements. If the game’s previously released videos gave a good idea of what the rest of Takayuki Yagami’s adventures have to offer, this new presentation includes several unspecified passages.
The trailer of the day therefore returns to the basics of the plot and the environments in which it takes place. Since Yagami is a private detective, his approach to the investigation is also shown. This allows the passage to see the new techniques (exploration as combat) and other gadgets available in this second episode.
Since Lost Judgment is not a turn-based game, the combat phases are also present. The new fighting style (the snake) that Yagami can employ is obviously in place, as is the system of counter-characteristics, which is more evident than in the past.
No time for boredom
The game Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio requires a number of extracurricular activities in Lost Ludgment. Ironically, with bullying at the heart of the game’s storyline, many of them take place in school (well, high school). Dance races, boxing, robot battles, or even scooter racing are just a few of the activities offered in the game.
Of course, Lost Judgment will also offer its share of side quests. And to believe this video, a good part of it will take place in Yokohama high school, where Takayuki Yagami goes. Mini-games from the first judgment will also be back and the hero can visit the in-game arcades again. In the latter, players can also try out the arcade version of the game Sonic The Fighters. A first for a yakuza-like one.
As mentioned earlier, the new Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio title is slated for release on September 24th on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PS4 and Xbox One appear. Like the video of the day, the game will be subtitled entirely in French.
