Joker: Folie à Deux may be getting laughed at by clowns at the box office, but in the meantime another clown is having a blast. Terrorist 3 is making waves as we speak (considering it had a budget of just $2 million), and according to creator Damien Leone, there are two more movies on the way .
After receiving rave reviews and grossing $28 million at the global box office, it’s no surprise that “Clown Art” pops up in our feeds time and time again. Of course, all this buzz led to more interviews with creator Damien Leone, and to no one’s surprise, Terrorist 4 was in the works. Shockingly, however, he has no plans to keep the horror franchise as long as it’s printing money.

DiscussingFilm shared the news, with Leone saying he “would love to see him in space or go to Vegas or the Wild West. But I can’t imagine it being more than the other two movies.” If you’re Horror movie fanatics, perhaps these are the first provocations worth paying attention to.
“Personally, as a storyteller, I think my well will eventually run dry, obviously because I put so much into each film,” he added. While “Scary” appears to be just starting to become a mainstream horror franchise, Leone would rather bow out before its popularity burns out, which isn’t a very common thing for the creatives behind successful horror franchises.
After criticism that “Terrorist 2” might go on too long and “Terrorist 3” could stand some editing, Leone later explained his thoughts on the length: “At least most fans would rather watch a 90-minute movie. If that’s the case, then I might split them into two other movies.” Again, he’s already thinking about ending this as soon as possible.
With Halloween right around the corner, Scary Movie 3 will likely be strong throughout the second half of October, unless Smile 2 (which received amazing reviews) completely takes over the horror movie conversation starting tomorrow.
Oh, and there’s also an ultra-gory, arcade-style version of Terrorist coming next year.
