A full six years have passed since the first Ready Player One movie was released in 2018, so if this sequel ends up being released, it could be nearly a decade since the first one was released. There aren’t any other details about the movie, so now you’ll just have to wait and see who ends up directing it and if any actors will return – or if it will follow the plot of the second book.
