This weekend, the Super Bowl LIV is again the annual mega-event – and, as usual, EA has tried to forecast the outcome in advance in the current Madden NFL.

San Francisco 49ers or Kansas City Chiefs? This question will be resolved in the night from Sunday to Monday when the Super Bowl LIV is played in Miami. The mega sports event has long since cast its shadow and has also cast a spell over Electronic Arts. In Madden NFL 20, the studio tries a simulation as usual and wants to predict the outcome.
Chiefs fans should cheer because if the EA simulation in the current Madden goes, then quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is also the cover star of the current edition of the game series, will lead his chiefs to a 35:31 victory over the 49ers.
What is this forecast worth? Well, at least in the majority of cases of the Super Bowl simulations that have been carried out since 2004, EA was ultimately right. The winner was correctly predicted in 10 out of 16 simulated games. Only last year when the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13: 3 in a rather unsightly Super Bowl, you were pretty much wrong.
How will the game go this year? The 49ers get started like a fire brigade and, after a 16-yard touchdown by Raheem Mosters, lead 10: 0 in the first quarter. As has been the case many times before, the Chiefs are making a comeback under the leadership of Mahomes. At half-time, the 49ers lead 17:14 before Mahomes throws two more touchdowns to Damien Williams and Travis Kelce. Tight end George Kittle is said to keep the 49ers in the game with a TD at 24:28.
In the fourth quarter, the 49ers even take the lead through the next Mostert touchdown, but Mahomes makes another successful drive with the end of the clock and finds Sammy Watkins for the decisive 18-yard touchdown – 35:31 chiefs, ballgame. Mahomes is named Super Bowl MVP with 392 passing yards and 4 touchdowns at the same time.
Who are you keeping your fingers crossed for in the night from Sunday to Monday?
