The rumors have been confirmed: The Definitive Edition of Mafia is coming to Xbox Game Pass.
There have recently been increasing signs in the rumor mill that the Definitive Edition of Mafia could be planned for Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass and will be released there soon. These speculations have now been confirmed, to the delight of subscribers.
Because: 2K Games has now officially confirmed that Mafia: Definitive Edition will indeed be included in Microsoft’s gaming subscription and can then be played by all subscribers at no additional cost. The launch will take place in the month of August.
Specifically, Mafia: Definitive Edition will be available in Game Pass from August 13, 2024; an announcement of the complete subscription line-up in the first half of August by Microsoft is expected shortly.
The Definitive Edition is a completely revised new edition of the open-world action classic Mafia, which is often compared to Grand Theft Auto. A brutal world of organized crime in the 1930s awaits you, where you have to climb the ranks of the Mafia. You can play via Game Pass on both Xbox and PC.
Mafia: Definitive Edition was originally released in 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC; the original game dates back to 2002.
