A few hours before the Game Awards, part of the trailer for Mafia The Old Country landed online. We have the right to some images and, above all, to a publication date.
What would the Game Awards be without leaks? Often trailers are found online a few hours before the ceremony and that is the case with this 2024 edition. The victim today? Mafia The Old Countrynew work of the famous GTA-like who had already confirmed his presence at Geoff Keighley's meeting. As a reminder, the Video Game Oscars take place tonight from 1:30 a.m. French time (Friday December 13th). So what do we learn?
First pictures and a date
First we have a release date: Unless it's a really bad joke, Mafia The Old Country will be released in summer 2025 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This trailer that fell from the truck also shows us the first images of the title, which tell us the origins of the underworld in Sicily, Italy, in the 20th century. Ultimately, this is all just a – admittedly unforeseen – taste of what awaits us at the Game Awards tonight. Mafia The Old Country should have the right to a presentation worthy of the name, with details about the scenario, gameplay, characters and all the fuss.
