With tonight's 2024 Game Awards just around the corner, Mafia: Old Country appears to be the latest in a long list of games to leak information ahead of the big reveal. . A new trailer for the Cosa Nostra adventure appears to have surfaced online early via advertising.
In case you missed it, The Old Country was revealed at the end of this year's Gamescom opening night live, with a trailer that gave you a taste of the game's depiction of 1900s Sicilian underworld.

The game will be showcased at The Game Awards today, but thanks to a rogue ad on YouTube, it looks like people got an earlier than expected look at what we might be seeing tonight.
One Twitter user shared this obvious advert on the platform, through the timeless medium of them shooting a monitor like your grandma trying to help you with her inability to log into your laptop, albeit with a slightly more gaming/rave scene vibe illumination.

While not much was shown, the apparent Mafia ad does end up with a Summer 2025 release window for The Old Country, whereas the last time we saw it it was only promised a release sometime in 2025. So assuming this leak isn't bullshit, it looks like we'll learn later today that the release window will be narrowed down to the hottest season when the game shows up at the Great Winter Festival of Keighley.
Beyond that, there are some great shots of old school gunfire, some horseback riding, and a shot of the guy in the white shirt getting into trouble. In other words, except without the old car crashing into stuff, it looks mafia-y.
Let us know if you'd like to join Mafia: The Old Country as soon as it launches, and be sure to tune in for all of our Game Awards coverage when it kicks off later today.
