After yesterday's teaser about the upcoming Mafia: Trilogy, more information has now been leaked, including from a page in the Microsoft Store that has since been deleted.
Yesterday's teaser initially confirmed the rumors that the three parts of the Mafia series will be reissued or given a remaster for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. Further announcements are expected to follow on May 19, but more information and even some screenshots have already been leaked.
The Mafia: Definitive Edition appeared briefly in the Microsoft Store. According to the information on the shop page, this is not just a remaster of the first part of the series, but a complete remake, carried out by developer Hangar 13 (Mafia 3). Not only should gameplay and graphics be brought up to date, apparently there is also some new content and additions to the story. A release date also appeared, so the Mafia: Definitive Edition will appear on August 28. It definitely looks nice, here are the screenshots of the shop page:
As further information slipped through the Microsoft Store. Accordingly, the Mafia 2: Definitive Edition could already appear in the coming week parallel to the announcement, i.e. also on May 19. It should be a remaster with all DLC content.
The corresponding Microsoft store pages have now been deleted again, but it is not possible to delete how quickly the network collects the information. As mentioned, final certainty and precise information will be available on May 19 at 6 p.m. when the official announcement follows.
