If you ignore exotic eBay dealers with individual copies at prices starting at 310 dollars, the Citation Multibeam 700 is not available in regular stores for less than 449 dollars, for example at Media Markt. At tink the device is on the shelf at a list price of 499 dollars, but with a magenta voucher code the price drops by a whopping 60% to just 199 dollars; you save 250 dollars on the price at MediaMarkt.

We wouldn’t recommend the soundbar at the regular list price of 499 dollars, simply because the larger Dolby version is currently available at tink with a trick for the same price.
We wouldn’t open a news barrel for 399 either, after all, the soundbar isn’t a brand new device either. However, you have never been able to buy the device for 199 dollars and we do not expect this price point to fall in the near future.
The Citation 700 can do that
Unlike the larger Citation 1100 with Dolby Atmos, you can expect a rich sound experience here; the technology called MultiBeam is used for this. However, the really big suuround sound kick cannot be achieved with this. But that doesn’t have to mean that the sound isn’t worlds better than the tinny sound of a flat-screen TV.
The large Citation 1100 is quickly oversized in smaller (living) rooms and, last but not least, even with the voucher code “HK100” in the current Citation sale at tink, it costs more than twice as much as the small 700 in the Magenta Moments deal.
