League of Legends fans will probably get another spin-off, because the next such project has now become public on the net before an official announcement with Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story.
In the meantime, Riot Games has already announced several spin-offs for the long-running favorite League of Legends – and another one is now likely to come. Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story should come from the publishing label Riot Forge in the foreseeable future, as a leak now suggests.
The relevant information has now become known through the authority responsible for age ratings in South Korea. They have now taken a close look at an action game with the said name for PC and consoles.
The game, which has not yet been officially announced, will focus on one of the most controversial characters in League of Legends, namely Sylas. In the new game, he leads a group of oppressed magicians in Demacia.
In League of Legends, the character became available in January 2019; since then he even made it into a Marvel comic series – along with the Demacia mage Lux. Since then he has basically been the main antagonist in Demacia.
After the leak, the rating for Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story was removed from the web by the Game Rating and Administration Committee. If the briefly visible description proves to be correct, then Sylas appears here as a freedom fighter and revolutionary, who often wages brutal revenge campaigns.
Purely from the setting, other Demacia characters like Lux or Garen could also appear in the action game – or even demons like Fiddlesticks. An official announcement is still pending.
