Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story, an unannounced Riot Forge action game, appears to have been leaked by the Korean Game Rating Board.
The game puts you in the shoes of Silias, a League of Legends champion imprisoned for being a mage, fighting to save Demacia. All we know from the ratings is that it’s going to be an action game for PC, and it does!
Riot Forge is the publishing arm of Riot Games, and they work with a range of outside developers to create games based on the League of Legends IP. This led to a series of single player games such as Airship Syndicate’s Ruined King, Choice Provisions’ Hextech Mayhem, and more.
The story of Silias and Demacia is a political uprising set in a fantasy setting. Demacia is a major faction in League of Legends lore, a kingdom completely opposed to mages and magic.
A powerful mage, Silas found himself trapped in this society. When we saw him in League of Legends, he finally broke out, the chains still hanging on him, and he was fighting to free mages from what he considered an oppressive system. Mind you, he doesn’t exactly take kindly to it. So you can see this game going to be a pull between the two sides of the Demacia setting.
Since the rating app is made by Riot Games Korea, we’re not sure which developer is working on the game. In fact, there are far more questions than answers surrounding this mysterious title. When will it be officially announced? What kind of action game is this? We’ll have to wait for those interesting details.
What are your hopes for this game? What kind of action game do you think it is? Let us know below!
