Magic: The Gathering is primarily known for the classic trading card game and corresponding video game implementations. In the future, however, the action RPG genre should also be made unsafe, namely with Magic: Legends. There is now fresh information about this new branch.

In the new title, you can explore the most famous worlds of the Magic universe, collect spells and become more powerful to take on numerous opponents. In beta you can take on the roles of the first two confirmed planeswalkers: geomagic and thought magician. Later there will be a total of five playable classes.
The geomager uses the power of the earth to destroy his opponents in close combat with stone and lava attacks. He has a stone shield to offer defensively, and can also summon goblins, kavu and earth elementals. The thought magician, on the other hand, relies on the power of thought and fights his opponents from a safe distance. He controls projectiles with telekinesis and holds enemies with sleeping spells.
The full version for the PC should also appear in the course of 2020. In addition, Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment have now confirmed that the free-to-play game should also be available on PS4 and Xbox One in 2021.
