Warcraft III: Remake has been released, and patches have been released.
Blizzard released a patch Warcraft 3: Recast This includes updating all campaign roles and visual assets.
Now you can also switch between the "classic" and "refactoring" modes of the graphic, it also adds "grid" or traditional hotkey layouts and more.
When reviewing patch notes, you should also be aware of current known issues and various bug reports.

- Install, update and launch Warcraft III from the Blizzard Battle .net app.
- Includes integrated groups and chat.
Battle
- Restored three prologue missions from the original Warcraft III demo: "Riders in the Storm", "The Fire Below" and "Countdown to Extinction".
- Updated terrain, mission difficulty and added auto-save for all missions.
- Updated the art and layout of major cities in the three iconic cities of Warcraft: Dalaran, Silvermoon City and Stratholme.
- Updated all campaign roles and visual assets.
Holdings
- Equip hero skins, choose your favorite portrait, and browse unlockable campaigns and matching rewards.
language skills
- Added locale support for Spanish (Latin America) and Portuguese (Brazil).
- Updated locale support for Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish (Spain).
Menus and options
- Added "grid" or traditional hotkey layout.
- New game settings for unit health bar, team color, hero status bar and cooldown display.
- Classic account links keep your historic victory.
- Legacy accounts will expire in 90 days, so please link as soon as possible.
- Switch between "classic" and "refactoring" modes for graphics and campaign content.
Butt-match matchmaking
- Participate in the single challenge with the new matchmaking system (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or 4-player "Free for All" melee).
- Create your group and join 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 together
