this Fallout: London The team decided not to release a DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4 in September, in part to give players time to play Starfield.
In a video update, project lead Prilldog said the mod will be released in the fourth quarter of this year. Basically sometime between October and December.
The new release window also gives the team extra time for playtesting and bug fixing, making it a “win-win.”
Fallout: London is a massive mod for Fallout 4 and brings the series outside of the United States. When it takes place in London, you can expect the nobles of the Council, the resurrection of the Knights of the Round Table, the Cult of the Revolutionaries, and more – all linked to the nuclear spin.
The mod looks really impressive, and even Bethesda was impressed, offering job offers to the two developers who worked on it.
Ryan Johnson received a job offer, he accepted, and is now an associate designer for the company. Project lead Dean Carter has also received a job offer from UK-based Fallout 76 studio Double Eleven. However, Carter refused to continue working on Fallout: London.
Fallout: London takes place 50 years before the events of Fallout 4, between the first two games in the series. Since the mod is set outside of the United States, there will be no pre-existing factions, but you can expect all kinds of interesting new ones. The same goes for super mutants, centaurs, and deathclaws, because the forced evolution virus hasn’t reached London yet. It could also mean that there are fewer psykers than ever before.
Upon release, this mod will require you to own Fallout 4 and all DLC, and will require a new save, as it makes significant changes to the base game’s mechanics.
