Each season, Blizzard refines the overall Diablo 4 experience by adding requested features. This will be the case for the still distant sixth season.
While Next Generation Sanctuary is still in its fourth season, Diablo 4 is already laying the groundwork for its sequel. If we don’t know the theme of season 6 yet, it will definitely offer many quality-of-life features that the community has long wanted.
Diablo 4 Season 6 already reveals some upcoming additions
With Revitalized Loot, Diablo 4 has received some very welcome changes to its loot system. A sort of fresh start for Blizzard’s legendary hack’n slash. Season 5 promises to be rich in promising new features, such as a sort of fashion that references Vampire Survivors and other games in the genre. It also takes the opportunity to add accessibility options for players with disabilities.
Season 6 also plans to add quality of life features while we wait to see what Blizzard has in store for us in terms of new mechanics. This area will then focus on improvements in navigation in the huge open world that is Sanctuary of Diablo 4. Specifically, this includes automatically adding a point on the map when we select a quest in our journal. This will also give players a line to follow, as well as sound effects to help people with visual impairments. Finally, a compass will be integrated into the interface to guide players in the right direction. Note that these features are currently present on the Season 5 public test server, but they will be officially introduced in Season 6.
Slowly but surely, Diablo 4 is making its way towards the highly anticipated Vessel of Hatred DLC, scheduled for October 8th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. As the game’s first expansion, it offers us a whole new region to explore, as well as a class reminiscent of the Witch Doctor from the third opus, with a little touch of originality. Pets from the previous game will also make a notable return.
