A beloved character returns in the latest trailer for Hungry Wolf: Castle of Wolves! Marco Rodrigues is officially back, and we can get our first look at him in SNK’s upcoming game thanks to a stunning new trailer released on Evo Japan.
First introduced in Werewolf: Mark of the Wolves, Marco is back with the classic, jaw-dropping martial arts prowess that fighting game fans have come to love, along with those fantastic sideburns. Polished in a new 3D form in this new era of SNK gaming, it’s a returning character worth looking forward to.
This happened during the finals of the Evo Japan King of Fighters XV tournament, where Jiahong “ET” Lin from Taiwan took first place in the high-octane finals. Followed by Xiaohai from Hong Kong, ranked second, and M from Japan ranked third.
You must be wondering who will be next in Wolf City? So far, it appears that many of Werewolf’s classic warriors are returning – it remains to be seen whether this sequel will stay true to its roots with most of the returning cast, or if we’ll start to see new characters step into the spotlight.
SNK’s current game, The King of Fighters XV, is fantastic, and it’s great to see high-level competitive gaming still being supported. As for Hungry Wolf: Castle of Wolves, it will be released in early 2025.
