Deactivate / activate motion control
You don't want to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or use motion control again, but you don't know how to set it up.
First enter the game main menu and select a game mode. Then make all other settings until the vehicle selection is reached. You can now call up vehicle statistics by pressing the plus or minus button. In the bottom middle, you can see the settings for the motion controls. Press the button specified there to switch between control types. You can also do this during the match by pressing the plus or minus button.
