The second DLC wave of the booster track pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has only just been released, so dataminers are already finding out which tracks are coming next.
Nintendo recently released the second wave of DLC tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Now dataminers have already researched the code and found out which routes will still await us in the coming waves. If you prefer to be surprised, you should stop reading from here.
The most concrete information is available about the two cups that should be unlocked at the end of this year. The first track of the third wave is London Loop from Mario Kart Tour. Another real city based ride that takes you past Big Ben, double decker buses and other landmarks. It continues in the rock cup with Peach’s castle garden from Mario Kart DS. Here you dodge chain dogs and make your way through a maze towards the goal. The third track cannot be named unequivocally, as it is identified by the associated music. However, in Mario Kart: Super Circuit there are two tracks that use the same music. So you can expect either Boo Huo Valley or Ruined Path. Neither route has had a 3D implementation so far. Capping off this cup is a fan favorite, Mario Kart 7’s mountain trail with its long glider passage.

The Moon Cup also starts with a city route. In Berlin Byways you drive through our capital. This route also originates from the Mobile offshoot Tour. Sights include the Berlin Wall, the Victory Column and the TV Tower. Waluigi Arena returns from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! return. While this popular track has also been remastered for the Wii, it appears to be based on the GameCube original for the purposes of this DLC. Christmas spirit continues with Merry Mountain. This track is also from Mario Kart Tour. Mario and Co. jet through a snowy village at the foot of a mountain. The final does credit to the Moon Cup. Mario Kart 7’s Rainbow Boulevard will provide a worthy conclusion to this wave.
In addition, other routes were discovered that could not be assigned to a specific cup. So it is not known in which order they will appear. These are:
- Amsterdam Drift (Mario Kart Tour)
- Singapore Speedway (Mario Kart Tour)
- Sunset Desert (Mario Kart Super Circuit)
- Bangkok Rush (Mario Kart Tour)
- Vancouver Velocity (Mario Kart Tour)
- Leaf Forest (Mario Kart Wii)
