Video games and luxury – that goes together, at least for fans with a bulging wallet. Now there are Swiss luxury watches for Mario Kart again.
It seems to fit between the Swiss watch manufacturer Tag Heuer and Nintendo. After last year’s collaboration on a limited watch series, there is now another watch series with two models – both limited and both boom tax.
The watch line, called TAG Heuer Formula 1 x Mario Kart Limited Edition, is available in two versions: chronograph and tourbillon chronograph. The tourbillon chronograph is the higher quality of the two models. It costs $25,600 (21,250 dollars) and is limited to 250 pieces. The chronograph costs $4,300 and is limited to 3,000 pieces.
You can register for the chronograph version from October 17th to get early access to the watch on October 20th. The tourbillon chronograph will follow at a later date, so far you can only register for a notification here.
