The talk show “Markus Lanz” is running for the first time this week. Two events in particular could be critically examined by today’s discussion.

The “Markus Lanz” show is running for the first time this week. The TV presenter of the same name regularly invites a variety of guests to talk to them about current political and social issues. Two upcoming events could particularly occupy today’s discussion group.

The last round of discussions on October 24th focused on topics relating to the mobility industry, in particular fuels and questions about the future of the global and German automotive industry. Guests included former VW chairman Herbert Diess and FDP parliamentary group leader Christian Dürr.

This dichotomy is sometimes discussed as a “split” within the traffic light coalition within the German press landscape. It is possible that Markus Lanz and his guests will also take up this topic.
