The most important thing for a live service game? Of course, a constant flow of content in the form of content such as new game modes, characters, maps and also skins. The latter in particular ensure the longevity of a game, as they often represent the only source of income for the studios. Marvel Rivals is no exception.

As is well known, Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is currently running and it offers tons of new content. For example, all players can look forward to a new and free skin for Thor, and the community is particularly excited about the Chinese-inspired outfits for Moon Knight, Squirrel Girl, Doctor Strange and Mantis.

A crossover with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will also start on January 30, 2025. To celebrate the PC version of the previously PlayStation-exclusive game, the Advanced Suit 2.0 skin is coming to the Marvel Rivals shop. The development studio NetEase also promises that new characters will land in the shooter every six weeks.

As part of Season 1 of Marvel Rivals, there are two new skins every Friday. A gallery card now showed what designs we can expect for Winter Soldier, Black Panther and Psylocke. By the way, the map is unlocked via Chapter 4 of the Midnight Features quests. This will also give you additional units, Chrono Tokens and a nameplate.

The skins are quite stylish. Black Panther's armor is pimped up with purple elements, and the warrior from Wakanda doesn't wear a mask, which curiously makes him look like a vampire in this version. Psylocke, on the other hand, wears a black and red dress and has her hair braided into pigtails. Winter Soldier has a strange golden arm and white hair.

It remains interesting to see if and when the skins make their way into Marvel Rivals. We will also be curious to see whether they will only end up in the store or whether you can also earn them as a quest reward.
