Miracle Snapshot It will soon pit you against your friends so you have a companion to say “one more”.
If a Marvel Snap appears somewhere on the timeline in a minute, you can’t seem to walk for five seconds. The only problem is that you can’t play with your friends unless it’s through a happy accident. But as revealed in the new roadmap, Battle Mode vs Friends is coming sometime in the future. Although no exact release date has been provided.
The new mode will start you off with 10 health, and if you win, you’ll deal damage to your opponent equal to the game stake. If you double down and slam, your friend will take 4 damage instead of 2, but you can retreat early and only deal 1 damage. Then you keep playing games with your friends until one of you loses health.
This mode is only listed as currently in development, along with a few other features. Non-ranked mode will give you a more casual way to play, as you won’t risk dropping the ranks in this mode, and is a great way to test new decks and strategies. Also coming soon are Collector Tokens, a free currency that allows you to unlock the most wanted cards in the store.
As far as the game’s upcoming content goes, Marvel Snap will release a global release on Android and iOS soon (again, no specific date), with plans to localize it in 13 languages. PC Early Access is also underway, and a variant rarity system is also on the way, meaning some cards will be cheaper and others more expensive, depending on their tier.
Currently in the concept stage are new competitive modes, guilds, in-game events, unlimited ranked leaderboards, collectible emotes and card emojis, and mythical variants, although none of these have been fully detailed.
