Nuverse and Second Dinner have announced Marvel Snap, a new trading card game that lets you create your dream team of superheroes and villains from the Marvel Universe.
It was teased yesterday, now it’s official. Marvel Snap is a new trading card game due out later this year for PC and mobile. It’s a free-to-play game that certainly won’t be lacking in microtransactions. Those who are interested can already register today register for an Android beta
Collecting instinct will of course be in the foreground, after all there are over 150 Marvel characters available in the game, which should gradually be replenished thanks to access to the entire Marvel multiverse.
Fast PvP card battles await you in a playful way, each of which should take a maximum of three minutes, making it ideal for mobile devices as well. Marvel Snap introduces a new way to compete for the highest ranks by allowing players to “snap” to up-bet and double down. The mind games and bluffing around it should bring a new element into play. The matches take place in a total of 50 locations, each of which contains game-changing aspects, so that there are always new situations.
The whole thing could even be quite exciting, because behind the project is none other than Ben Brode, who was responsible for Hearthstone in a leadership role at Blizzard.
