Through an interview in ComicBookthe head of Television, Streaming and Animation at Marvel Studios, Brad Winderbaumconfirmed what many rumors have been pointing out for quite some time: Marvel is in the early stages of development to bring Nova, one of Marvel Comics’ most beloved characters, to life.
“We love Nova. We’re very early in development,” Winderbaum told the outlet exclusively. In addition, he revealed that the company wants to return to being a “traditional studio”, developing more of what will actually be produced in the future to have several cards on the table.
This means that, although the development of this project has been confirmed, it does not guarantee its final completion. However, Richard Rider has always been in the company’s spotlight since 2014, with the departure of Guardians of the Galaxyso it is likely to come to light in the coming years.
