Marvel’s Avengers was never able to meet the high expectations and the supply of fresh content also left a lot to be desired. Fans had high hopes for Nick Fury’s comeback in Patch 2.3 – but he’s not appearing on time either.
Marvel’s Avengers has received a lot of criticism, including for the lack of regular new content. Fans had also requested a roadmap, from which they can see when further content can be expected in the future. Last year, Square Enix promised such a roadmap for early 2022, but fans are still waiting for it.
This also applies to the new patch 2.3, which should have been available from tomorrow, March 24th. Together with Crystal Dynamics, the publisher has now announced that the release will be postponed indefinitely. As a reminder, the update helped Nick Fury make a comeback and also restructured the War Table to better shape mission selection. The update should also rebalance gear, making more builds truly usable.
But fans have to wait for all of this again – until when, but it is unclear. The makers want to deliver a new release date as soon as possible. The reason given was that more time was simply needed to be able to guarantee all the planned features in the desired quality.
