These days ComicCon is being held in New York, the setting that Insomniac Games, Sony and Marvel Games have chosen to announce that another video game will have a PC version and the next will be Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the outstanding sequel to this saga starring Peter Parker and Miles Morales, who must face new enemies of the caliber of Venom and Kraven.
Those responsible have wanted to count once again on the study of Nixxes Software to take care of this version, as they did previously with the remastering of Marvel’s Spider-Man and with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, so they already have good experience in adapting the adventures of the arachnid superheroes into compatible ones.
From what has been anticipated, this new version will have improvements that will make the most of the capacity of the computers in order for the game to look most spectacular. At the moment it has not been detailed what they will be, but what has been assured is that the game will have from day one each and every one of the contents and new features that have been arriving little by little on PS5.
Likewise, it has been revealed that they will be distributed two different editionsone standard and one deluxe, which will include the following items:
- Standard Edition– Full campaign, 14 new costumes, New Game+ mode, ultimate levels, new symbiote suit styles, time of day options, achievements, screen reader, audio descriptions, and an action figure mode for photo mode .
- Digital Deluxe Edition– All of the above along with five exclusive suits for Peter Parker, another five for Miles Morales, unlocking the Spider Knight suit for Peter and the Shadow Spider suit for Miles, unlocking the spider catcher gadget, five skill points and more options for photo mode .
What may not be such good news is that Insomniac Games wanted to make it clear that it does not plan to continue expanding the story of this sequel, so it will have to be content with what there already is, which is not little. In any case, mark your calendars well for the January 30, 2025because that will be the day when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released for PC.
