Electonic Arts have announced during their quarterly conference call that Mass Effect: Legendary Editio surpassed their expectations in sales.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Does “Well Above Expectations” in Sales
Electronic Arts held their quarterly conference call for investors on Wednesday, executive officer Andrew Wilson shared more about the performance of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.
Wilson expressed that the Legendary Edition which was released this May has “reignited the passion of fans around the world” for the franchise. Sales were driven “well above” EA’s expectations.
The exact sales figures for Mass Effect Legendary Edition were not shared by EA, but the game proved popular on Steam, reaching the highest-ever player count for any Mass Effect or even BioWare game. The all-time high for the number of players was 59,817, the second-highest player count on Steam for an EA game, with Apex Legends taking the top spot.
