The Consumer Advisory Center issued an email warning on behalf of MasterCard. The subject "Your card has been blocked" is used to send a phishing message designed to prompt customers of credit card issuers to enter their personal data.

In March, phishing emails in the name of Mastercard were circulating, warning consumers centres in fraud reports. The subject of the fake message was "Your card has been blocked" and contains the following text:

Dear Customer,
Your Mastercard has been blocked. After reviewing customer-related data, our system found that your billing information has expired. For outdated billing information, we cannot guarantee that you will receive all payment notifications.
After activating the card again, update your billing information immediately. If you do not activate your MasterCard within the next 48 hours, the card will remain frozen and we will charge a closing fee of 39.95 Euros.
Update invoice data
We ask for your understanding and appreciate your help.
Sincerely
Your MasterCard Customer Center

You can tell from the wrong language that this is not true information of the credit card company. In addition, banks never require you to enter personal data via email.

If you look closely at the senders and links in May, you won't find any Mastercard websites here either. Under no circumstances should you click on the link or register on the corresponding page. You can delete the phishing email or forward it to the following email address.
