Maybe this version of Diablo 4 would be awesome if it could melt a world boss in 15 seconds

Awesome, boss, Diablo, Melt, seconds, version, World

Folks, we’ve reached a stage in the Diablo 4 metadata that gives us some super powerful endgame content builds. A recent patch doesn’t actually make a build like this any better, but it creeps into Diablo IV’s endgame unnoticed.

Forget your whirlwind barbarians, I’m talking bonespear necromancers. It’s a build specifically designed to deal lethal damage over time, and that’s the secret to its power. But those of us who don’t know the building blocks of Diablo IV can see the true power of the Bonespear Necrons in this video.

Reddit user stso shared one of the shortest world boss kills ever seen in Diablo 4. As they rallied against the level 90 Wandering Death, another player nearby wiped out the boss in just 15 seconds!

For reference, the world boss in Diablo 4 is a major event for a large number of players. It’s basically a DPS race, because if the player can’t defeat the boss, they disappear after 15 minutes, leaving everyone with nothing but wasted time.

While it looked like the entire team was contributing to the fight, it quickly became apparent that the Bonespear Necromancer on the right was doing most of the damage, delivering multiple critical hits in a row (as the build intended).

The Bonespear Necromancer melted down endgame content in Diablo 4 since release, and it’s pretty much a thing. If you look around, you’ll find videos of them walking through dungeon bosses, nightmare dungeons, world bosses, and other major difficulty content with ease. However, it’s worth remembering that these players have carefully planned builds in which every piece of equipment contributes to this power.

Our version of Diablo 4 probably won’t spoil the game’s ending, but it’s pretty darn good for a single player. For our other Diablo 4 coverage, follow that link.
