Media Markt undercuts Amazon with its own product: Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition on sale

The current sales tax campaign at Media Markt offers bookworms an attractive bargain: the electronics retailer is offering the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition at a significantly lower price than Amazon. The campaign runs until June 6 at 8 p.m., initially in the Media Markt app, and then also in the regular online shop via browser. The promotional prices are available as a direct deduction in the shopping cart.

The e-book reader from the popular Kindle series now costs you just 167 dollars instead of the usual 190 dollars – so you save almost 30 dollars when you buy it.

Thanks to the adjustable color temperature, you can adapt the display to your preferences and reduce the blue light components, which is said to be easier on the eyes, especially in the evening hours.

The features of the Paperwhite include a multi-touch screen, an illuminated display and IPX8 water resistance. With the integrated Bluetooth, you can even enjoy audio books via your headphones or speakers. Compared to the regular Paperwhite, the Signature Edition also offers wireless charging, automatic backlighting and 32 gigabytes of storage space instead of 16 gigabytes.
