The creators of Dead by Daylight have taken significant steps forward with their latest work, Meet Your Maker. In the run-up to the release in April, there is now a concrete start date for the previous open beta test.
On the occasion of the Steam Next Fest, Behavior Interactive announced the concrete start date for the open beta test phase of the new game brand Meet Your Maker. The creators of Dead by Daylight want to have their latest work put through its paces by a number of interested players in the run-up to the release of the full version – and you can take a look at the title in advance.
The open beta should therefore last a total of seven days. It starts on February 6th at 3:00 p.m. and ends on February 13th at 5:59 a.m. The full version of the first-person building and raiding game is scheduled for April 4, 2023 on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
As part of the open beta, a new version of the game is being tested, which has been given a number of innovations and improvements compared to previous pre-release versions. Specifically, the makers state this as follows:
New social and progression systems: systems for sharing outposts and connecting players
- Champion Outposts: A curated system that showcases outposts that have been particularly successful in the community
- Social Raid: The Social Raid menu allows you to search and loot outposts that have the status of “Socially Active”.
- Ranking: Players earn ranking points by looting outposts and activating outposts on the world map
New Construction Features: Focus onf Improvements to build outposts more efficiently
- Drag and Drop: When building, multiple blocks of the same type can be quickly placed at once
- Trap Area Preview: A preview can be displayed while building, showing the range of the traps and their area of effect
- Erase All: When building, blocks and other elements can be erased at once
