The Halloween franchise has a very nice surprise in store for you with several upcoming games. It will be a real killer for fans of horror and this iconic license.
Fall is approaching and with it the Halloween season, which every year ignites the excitement of horror fans. This time of year is often synonymous with exciting new releases for fans of thrills, be it through movies, special events or video games… And indeed, horror fans might have some good news.
Halloween is likely to hit hard
Boss Team Games, known for its work on Evil Dead: The Game, has announced that it is currently working on two new games based on the classic Halloween horror film series. This news was published by IGN. We note that both titles are being developed in close collaboration with John Carpenter, the director of the original 1978 film.
Details about these projects are currently limited, but it has been confirmed that one of the games will be developed using the Unreal Engine 5 engine, which guarantees a high-quality visual and immersive experience. Both games will be anchored in the cinematic universe Halloween
John Carpenter, director of the original film and a huge fan of video games, is directly involved in the development of these titles. He expressed his enthusiasm for bringing Michael Myers back to life through these games, with the intention of making players shudder. Carpenter clarified that he will be “closely involved in the development of these games,” promising fidelity to the spirit of the original film.
Currently, no release date or platforms on which these games will be available have been announced, so fans of the Halloween franchise will have to wait a little while longer. I await more details on these highly anticipated projects.
