Mick Gordon will not participate in a possible sequel to DOOM Eternal, which m ay be due to a bad relationship between the composer of the reboot soundtrack of the saga in 2016 as well as its sequel DOOM Eternal released a few weeks ago. It is clear that Gordon's music has set epic moments in these two installments and it is not understood how the saga would be without those metallic notes and the pure and hard heavy metal that it has composed. But it seems that his hours are numbered, since he himself has confirmed that he does not think he would participate in a new installment.
After falling victim to a controversy in which fans questioned the quality of the DOOM Eternal soundtrack mix available in the game's collector's edition, Mick appeared to communicate that he had nothing to do with that mix.. To top off the fact that the creator of the BSO has not produced the official release of such songs, Mick replied to a fan who asked him if he would be present in a new DOOM.
I commented about it yesterday. I turned I’d break the news here. This is a dark day for our beloved franchise desde r / doom
Mick commented that he was very doubtful that he would participate in a new DOOM, which lets us know that the relationship between the artist and Bethesda is not going through its best moment or that the musician has simply grown tired and is looking for other projects.
