Asobo has just published the World Update USA, the next one is already being planned. Another region will get a lot of improvements and expansions in January.
The next World Update for Microsoft Flight Simulator should therefore appear at the end of January 2021. This time it’s all about the UK. Similar to Japan and the USA, England, Scotland and Wales should get significantly more details and more accurate implementation thanks to new data.
In addition, there are around 50 to 60 new points of interest, new buildings and revisions of many airports such as Land’s End, Liverpool and Manchester Barton. New challenges and activities should also be on board. Whether Ireland will make it into the update is still open – but work is being done on it.
In a live stream, the developers have also confirmed that they want to deliver further updates every month, presumably with a change from world and simulation updates. Among other things, two further updates on the USA are in the planning stage, which will primarily focus on Hawaii and Alaska.
You can look forward to the implementation of VR Support this year. The corresponding update is to be released on December 22nd.
