World Update 10 is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The new update adds four new airports, including Catalina Island in California (KAVX), Valdez in Alaska (PAVD), Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada (KTVL) and Block Island on the east coast of Rhode Island (KBID).
There are also 87 new points of interest. These include the Lincoln and Jeffers on Memorials in Washington, D.C., the beautiful Glacier National Park in Montana, the Arch in St. Louis, and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on Hatteras Island, North Carolina.
Other attractions include the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia, Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, Hot Springs Mountain Tower just outside Hot Springs, Arkansas, Lake Ozark in Wyoming, Wyoming Quite Fun Park, Devils Tower National Monument , Old Faithful, Yosemite National Park in California, and more.
You can also take part in three new landing challenges, three discovery flights and three jungle tours.
World Update 10: The United States and U.S. Territories is available today for free to all Microsoft Flight Simulator owners.
The game has also recently received airships from Halo, Pelican or Dropship 77, and is available through the in-game marketplace for players who own the game and play it through Game Pass.
In addition to the Halo airship, classic airfields and several aircraft from earlier releases, including Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, have been added. These include Wright Flyer and Douglas DC-3, Bell-407 and Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopters, DG Flugzeugbau LG8-18 glider and Airbus A310.
A partnership with the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum will also introduce “Spirit of St. Louis.”
A 40th anniversary Flight Simulator update is also on the way, and it’s coming in November.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available on Xbox One, Series X/S, PC and Game Pass.
