Microsoft provided its details Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family The program is currently being tested in Colombia and Ireland.
The company began testing the expanded Xbox Game Pass subscription service with Xbox Insiders in both countries in early August.
With Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family, five accounts share the benefits of Game Pass Ultimate, allowing you, your family and friends to play your Game Pass library together on console, PC and the cloud.
The service will run for 49,900 COP in Colombia and $21.99 per month in Ireland. We anticipate that the regional currency equivalent will be set once Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family is available in other countries.
There will be two types of members, with the primary account holder responsible for payments. Account holders are the only members who can add or remove users from the group.
To be the primary account holder, you must join friends and family through the digital Microsoft Store. After joining, you can manage group membership on the Services and Subscriptions page.
You can only share your membership with people who live in your county or territory. If a group member leaves your country or region, they will be removed from the group.
As the primary account holder, you can invite up to four people at a time and up to eight each year. You can only be a member of one group at a time, and your group members can only join one group twice a year. This includes leaving and rejoining the same group.
If you are interested in adding people to your plan and have time left on your Game Pass or Gold subscription, after you join Game Pass Friends and Family as the primary account holder, the remainder of your previous plan will be Automatic conversion.
For example, if you have 30 days left on your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, it will convert to 18 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family service. If you only have a standard Xbox Game Pass subscription, the 30 days will convert to 12 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family.
