Spider-Man: Miles Morales has been updated to include a 60fps performance mode with ray tracing.
Insomniacs released Spider-Man: Miles Morales Update immediately, allowing players to choose a mode to ray tracing at 60fps.
Previously, players could only choose between two modes. One allows you to run the game in 4K with 30 fps ray tracing, and the other option is to run the game in 4K ray tracing at 60 fps.
The 1.007.001 update adds ray tracing by adjusting the scene resolution, reflection quality and pedestrian density (thanks to Gematsu).
According to our review, ray tracing is “absolutely ubiquitous” in the game and achieves an “excellent implementation”, while the real-time reflections in New York are “painted into the windows”. Even the suit Miles wore had ray-traced reflections on the surface.
Speaking of suits, if you are just starting the game now, here is how to unlock each suit.
