Certainly one of Hollywood’s most daring actors, Tom Cruise is back very soon to continue the Mission: Impossible saga and to tell you he doesn’t do things by halves. The film’s promotion has now begun with a poster celebrating cinema’s most dangerous stunt.
Mission Impossible reveals a poster to die for
Whether you’re a fan of the Mission: Impossible saga or not, you couldn’t miss Tom Cruise’s many stunts throughout his career. After climbing the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai for Ghost Protocol, boarding a plane taking off for Rogue Nation and flying a fighter jet for Top Gun: Maverick (among many others…), the 60-year-old returns Actor returns and performs another extremely dangerous stunt during the filming of Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1, the next installment in the saga, which is expected to hit theaters this summer.
In order to honor him and to attract as many people as possible to the cinemas, the film’s promotion teams have just gone for the latter. In fact, a few days ago, Paramount Pictures released the first Mission Impossible 7 poster on their Twitter account, and just to say it’s stunning:
The most dangerous stunt in cinema
We told you about it a few months ago, this Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 promises to dose the action scenes right. Among them, of course, it is worth mentioning the stunt depicted in the poster above, considered by its authors to be “the most dangerous of cinema”. The stunt, which took more than two years to film in Norway, required the inclusion of many experts on the film crew, leaving Tom Cruise better prepared than ever. In addition to being able to enjoy it on film once it’s released, The authors of this exploit have already prepared a making-off, which you can find below.
Aside from asking the 60-year-old actor for a hell of a workout based on hundreds of skydives and tens of thousands of motocross jumps, it was necessary to create the perfect conditions for the stunt to return to wonders’ on-screen. Calculation of trajectory, maintenance of the latter, timing of release and opening of the parachute, nothing seems to have been left to chance. If it’s way too early to know if the movie will be any good, there’s no doubt the stunt will be remembered.
As a reminder, Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 is expected in theaters on July 12th.
