A modder went to great lengths to turn a Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Game & Learn controller into an Xbox controller, and it works. To demonstrate how the controller works, rudeness A clip of them playing the Elden Ring with the controller was shared on Twitter.

While something more childish might be more appropriate, what better way to show off what a controller can do (and lack the right joystick) than by playing the harder game of the year?

as a twitter user Wario 64 Shared that the Fisher Price controller is available at a discount, and they also joked that it would be a perfect fit for the Elden Ring. Well, modder – Rudeism – put this to the test.

Rudeism completely modifies the controller into a fully functional Xbox controller that can be used for more than just playing Elden Ring. When someone pointed out that there was no proper joystick to use, Rudeism shared that they had actually modified the yellow switch to move it left and right, depending on which direction you moved it.

There are a lot of other buttons missing too, and this yellow switch does the trick. The input to the face buttons also changes when the switch is on a different side. For example, the “C” button on the Fisher Price controller represents the “B” on the Xbox controller, but with just one switch change, the “C” button stands for “Start.”

For every possible problem with this controller, Rudeism has found some form of solution. Still, we can imagine that it’s rather tricky to use for a toy controller.

The only original feature that may be annoying to many but not interested in Luddism is the music for the Fisher Price controller. Whether the narration of the button or the music will be a distraction when confronting Elden Beast, only time will tell.

Oh, and as if that wasn’t impressive enough, Rudeism also defeated the Dark Souls 3 Abyssal Watcher boss using a dance pad in 2016, and most recently beat Dark Souls 3 using only Morse code.
