With our upcoming Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward and Activision have announced some incentives for you to play – and complete – the game’s campaign. Call of Duty is clearly going all out this year to fuel enthusiasm for the game’s traditionally least-played mode.
Just like their previous beta rewards, here are 17 unlockables, one of which – most importantly – has to do with completing the event. Rewards will be available for multiplayer, Special Ops, and Warzone 2.0 when it launches on November 16.
Each reward may be associated with completing certain tasks, although the developer did not specify it. However, if you get early access to the event on October 20 by pre-ordering Modern Warfare 2, your unlocks will be ready to use when multiplayer launches a week later.
If you decide to wait, completing the event any time after that will still give you the same rewards. So what are you going to unlock? Well, you’re looking at four operators, four calling cards, a badge, and a bunch of Dual XP and Dual Weapon XP tokens.
Finally unlocked is Captain Price’s iconic M4 – the blueprint for the Union Guard weapon. In addition to its unique appearance, the blueprint requires four attachments: optics, laser sight, silencer, and vertical grip.
Here’s everything you’ll unlock in order:
- “Soap Resolve” calling card.
- ‘What’s done’ sign.
- Double XP Tokens for 30 minutes.
- 30-minute dual-weapon XP token.
- “Chained” calling cards.
- Chuy – base operator.
