Capcom hit the bullseye with Monster Hunter Rise. The sales figures can still be seen for a long time after the original release.
Developer and publisher Capcom has released new sales figures for the current action game Monster Hunter Rise and the associated major expansion Sunbreak – and these can still be seen some time after the original release.
Accordingly, the main game Monster Hunter Rise has now sold over 13 million copies in physical and digital form. The still relatively young extension Sunbreak should have provided the new boost in terms of sales, which in turn has already achieved a whopping 6 million sales worldwide.
Most recently, a final update for the Sunbreak add-on was released on June 8th, which brought a final new monster into the game: Primordial Malzeno. In addition, other changes such as armor augmentations and decos found their way into the game as well. New event quests and bigger challenges with rewards will continue to appear until July 27th.
Also scheduled for August 24th is a comprehensive new game edition that will include all content in a single bundle for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, PS5 or PS4.
