Monster Hunter Wilds reveals one of its biggest improvements

biggest, Hunter, improvements, Monster, reveals, Wilds

While PS Plus subscribers can finally try out the demo of the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wild, the guide published by Capcom reveals a significant improvement.

Monster Hunter Wilds clearly has a special relationship with the PlayStation. During the last State of Play, Capcom also finally announced the release date for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series scheduled for February 18th, with some exclusive bonuses. This is still evident today with the release of the preview demo on PS Plus. Capcom also took the opportunity to release a detailed guide to help newcomers, with random new data being anything but anecdotal.

A monstrous multiplayer hunt for Monster Hunter Wilds

While they wait four short months for Monster Hunter Wilds to release, hunters from all walks of life can finally try out the game in a demo this week. This actually picks up the structure that was specifically presented at Gamescom 2024. Namely the beginning of the game and our first fight against a Chatacabra, then a multiplayer hunt against a Doshaguma Alpha.

The enthusiasm surrounding Monster Hunter Wilds seems to be so great that many newcomers want to get started with Capcom’s iconic license. The Japanese studio thought of them by releasing a detailed instructions. However, it is not entirely uninteresting for veterans, especially with two important dates regarding multiplayer. In particular, the demo guide confirms, in contrast to World and Rise, full support for crossplay between PC and consoles. As a bonus, it is said that the Wilds multiplayer lobbies can accommodate up to 100 players.

A colossal improvement compared to World, which finished with 16 players in this field. The demo guide also tells us that the 100 players can interact with each other and take part in various hunts together. This therefore suggests a truly massive Monster Hunter Wilds, both in terms of its ambitions and the world we can explore. Enough to make your mouth water, just like a meal prepared with love by the Felynes of the camp. We are looking forward to February 18th!
