Capcom has updated its Platinum Book List, which provides sales data for the ten best-selling titles in the company’s library.

There are only three franchises in the top 10: Monster Hunter, Resident Evil and Street Fighter.

The latest installment in the Resident Evil series, May’s Resident Evil Village, has sold 5.7 million copies and is No. 10 on the platinum title list.

It was beaten by other Resident Evil games Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 7.

Speaking of Resident Evil 7, it was the second best seller with 10.6 million units sold.

Continuing the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter: World topped the charts with 17.8 million units sold since January 2018. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has sold 8.8 million since its release in 2019, and Monster Hunter Rising has sold 7.7 million since March 2021.

In terms of Street Fighter, Street Fighter 2 has been in eighth place with 6.3 million units sold since 1992, while 2016’s Street Fighter 5 has sold 6.1 million units since its release.
