The perfect time to (re)discover Monster Hunter World
Although Monster Hunter World hasn’t announced a new expansion, it may seem strange that it is enjoying such a surge in popularity almost six years after its release. The first theory obviously concerns the announcement of the next work in the saga: Monster Hunter Wilds. This new game, revealed as the apotheosis of the Game Awards ceremony broadcast on December 7th, seems to have everything of a direct sequel to Monster Hunter World. If it is not expected to arrive before 2025, this is already a good reason to pick up the previous game.
Of course, the announcement of the next part of the Capcom saga alone is not enough to justify such a surge in popularity at this time of year. The second theory that could explain this phenomenon is ultimately much more down-to-earth: Monster Hunter World is currently enjoying an unprecedented low discount on Steam. If you’ve never tried this title before, You can add it to your library for just under $10 until January 4th. Better yet, the Iceborne expansion is also on sale and can be purchased for just under $15. If you don’t have either, there’s even a bundle for just under $20 that can save you even more. If you want to benefit from it, you have to hurry up a little and get connected the game’s Steam page.
