Collectibles, Fans, monstrous

While World of Warcraft recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, pre-orders are open for collectors, which should please fans of the license.

As a reminder, World of Warcraft and its license in general were the subject of a double anniversary last week. On the one hand, the 30 years of the franchise launched by the STR genre with the remaster release of the first two works and a 2.0 version of the very controversial Warcraft 3 Reforged, then the 20 years of Blizzard's juggernaut MMO with a magnificent concert. Three new collectibles that can currently be pre-ordered are based on exactly this theme.

New collectibles celebrating World of Warcraft music

Blizzard certainly owes a lot to World of Warcraft, and the MMO owes much of its success to its fantastic universe of Azeroth, but also to this one its iconic soundtrack. Our adventure, with its numerous expansions, would not have had the same flavor without significant music. Whether epic flights, atmospheric music in the depths of the lower city or lively walks in taverns, The World of Warcraft OST has been delighting the ears of its players for 20 years.

As such, Three vinyl collectibles are currently available for pre-order from Fnac. The largest piece is called “ 20 years of music » and picks up exactly the compositions from the MMO's most recent anniversary concert. It contains four volumes in the colors of the game and costs 89.99 dollars. This will be available from March 31, 2025.

Next we have two individual vinyls that might be worth a listen. On one side, a vinyl record with the sober title “World of Warcraft,” which focuses on the music of the original work released in 2004. Then comes the vinyl disc focusing on Burning Crusade, the MMO's first expansion, featuring the iconic Illidan Stormrage. Both cost 49.99 dollars and will be available from December 6, 2024.
