Gaming News More beautiful than ever even without the PS5 Pro: the remake of this scary video game reveals a breathtaking new video
Almost ten years after its release, Until Dawn returns with remastered graphics to captivate players once again.
Horror brought up to date
The PC and PS5 port was announced last January“Until dawn.” is finally available. For the occasion, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Blue Moon, the studio that succeeded Supermassive Games in this new version, wanted to release a launch trailer. This video therefore takes us once again into the core of the game’s horror and the terrible history of the Washington family, with sequences from the game without highlighting the gameplay, which nevertheless has some new features and customizations.
A spoiled portage
This new version has been completely redesigned under Unreal Engine 5. Thanks to Epic Games’ graphics engine, Blue Moon has reworked all textures, facial expressions and environments, highlighting the blood with injuries more realistically. Additionally, the game now benefits from a third-person mode to experience the story differently. In addition, narrative changes were made, particularly in the prologue.
So Blue Moon has done a more than complete job to offer players this “ultimate” version of Until Dawn. Unfortunately, not all developers really get the chance to celebrate the fruits of their efforts: last month, studio management announced that they “ We are making the difficult decision to significantly reduce our team in order to secure the future of our studio“. A big blow for the teams a month before the game’s release, but also a strange decision given the timing.
